Purab waits for Abhi and Pragya to come. Abhi comes and tells that they have done shopping. He says hats off to girls and women…how can they shop while hungry? He says I am dying of hunger. He tells Purab that he bought something for him. He says I have a surprise for you….Purab asks what? Abhi says I have shopped for you also. He says I have selected your cloth and Pragya has selected mine. Purab says I want to tell you something. Abhi asks him to first go and try the clothes. He says tomorrow is your engagement, so you shall stay here, we will talk all night. Purab asks him to stop it and asks him to listen to him once. He says I wanted to tell you…that..Abhi says I was talking about your engagement. Purab says stop it…I have decided not to get engaged. Abhi is shocked. Pragya smiles.
Abhi asks Purab about his decision. He asks are you joking? Purab says I am serious and asks him to listen carefully. He says I am cancelling this engagement. Abhi asks did anyone tell you anything, or have a fight with Pragya. Pragya nods no. Purab says it is my wish, my life, my engagement…I will decide and asks him to accept his decision. He says I am your friend and not Robin, your servant, who has to obey your every saying, you made me a stone. Abhi slaps him hard. Purab is shocked. Abhi says you have become a loafer and I knew that you were never serious about her, you have broken your relation with her and not engagement. Purab says you are thinking of me wrongly. Abhi says I used to tell everyone that you are my childhood friend and can’t do anything wrong. Pragya asks him
to listen to him. Abhi says she cares for you even now and says she is the best, and an innocent girl at that and says you will not get any girl better than her. She says do you know why people get married? So that they can share their life with each other, and can share happiness and sorrows. He says wife is not just a wife, but a guide who can hold his hand and make him walk properly.
Dasi asks him to listen to Purab. Abhi says when he doesn’t want to get engaged? Aaliya asks him to listen to Purab once and says maybe he wants to say that they are not compatible with each other. Abhi asks her to stay out of it. Dadi asks him to listen to Purab once. Abhi says no, and says he wants to break his engagement with Pragya. Dadi says do you respect me or not, and asks him to let Purab speak. Abhi says okay, tell him to say what he wants to say and leave from here. He asks him to give a reason for not getting engaged to Pragya.
Purab says you are thinking of me wrongly and shows that all trains are closed due to bomb blast alert, and tells that his Uncle and Aunt can’t attend his engagement function tomorrow.
Abhi is shocked and tells that I thought you are betraying Pragya, I am very protective of her. Purab says yes, I know and I like that. Abhi says I have slapped you and you liked it? Purab says I liked it as I know you do care for her a lot. Abhi says I would have done same thing as you, as I wouldn’t have gotten engaged without my family. He says until your family comes here, engagement will not happen and hugs him. Pragya smiles. Abhi announces that engagement will not happen until his family comes. Pragya and Purab smiles. Aaliya and Tanu are upset. Janki brings pakodas for Sarla and asks her to eat. Sarla is thinking about Pragya. Janki asks her not to worry and says Purab’s plan will be a success. Sarla says her heart is not agreeing and worried. Janki asks her to think positive. Sarla thinks something bad is going to happen and prays everything is fine. Abhi apologizes to Dadi for talking rudely with her. Dadi says I am forgiving you for today, but…. Abhi says sorry. Dadi says we shall apologize to Pragya. Pragya says whatever is happening is good and I have no complaints. Abhi says that’s why I praise her. Aaliya calls someone and thanks the guy for solving her problem. She tells Tanu that the tickets are booked. Abhi asks are you going somewhere? Aaliya says no, and tells that I have promised you that I will help you fully and thought to lower your stress. Abhi asks what?
Aaliya says Purab will thank me all his life, and says I am going to give you more big surprise. She says Purab’s engagement will not be called off anymore. Abhi asks how can they come as flights are booked and train is not working? Aaliya says Purab’s family members are coming to Mumbai tonight, she smiles. Tanu also smiles. Purab says they can’t come here. Aaliya says you are underestimating me and tells that she read this news in the morning and called the travel agent. Now he called her and confirmed that the tickets are done. Abhi says really? Aaliya says engagement and then marriage will happen. Aaliya and Tanu smiles. Abhi is impressed and says you are a super woman. Abhi says Pragya’s family will come tomorrow and we will fix the marriage date. Aaliya promises that she will support him and will make them marry each other. She laughs. Abhi thanks her.
Aaliya and Tanu smirks.
Pragya tells Dadi that she is tensed about Sarla’s reaction and says what will I tell her? Dadi says nothing will happen. We will stop the engagement somehow and asks her to make her speak to Sarla. Purab says how did Aaliya know about my secret plan? Dadi says someone must have told her. Purab says I had confirmed with 5 different travelling agents before telling Abhi and asks how did she get the tickets? Pragya says how did Aaliya come to know this, and says she doesn’t have your family contacts or does She? Purab says she has invited them and says she must have gotten it from his office. Pragya says if she is tapping our phone. Purab says tapping phones isn’t that easy, and says I never spoke about it on phone. Pragya says how did this happen? Dadi asks them to find out and asks them to be alert. Aaliya and Tanu comes there. Aaliya says you people haven’t slept till now?
Aaliya tells Purab, Dadi and Pragya that she came to know about Purab’s plan through her spies, and she did what she is best at. She tells that she has called a travel agent. fb is shown. She asks him to book tickets for sure and not to give her excuses. She asks him to cancel his passengers and get 4 tickets. She threatens him to trap him in a fraud case he had committed before and asks him to get the bookings. fb ends. She asks Purab and Pragya to do engagement as Abhi is conservative about such things. She says after their marriage, Pragya will be Abhi’s sister-in-law now in his eyes. She asks Tanu to go and sleep, and says she will also get good sleep today, but feeling bad for them as they won’t be able to sleep today.
Pragya comes home and tells Sarla that they couldn’t call off the engagement. Sarla says you said that Purab will cancel the engagement?
Pragya says Purab tried to cancel the engagement and Abhi got angry at him. She says Aaliya got air tickets for his family and then he has no reason to refuse. Sarla says let’s sit and talk about it. Pragya says her trust is breaking and asks what will I do if Aaliya and Tanu’s trick is successful? Sarla says I am hopeful on your hope. Pragya says we went for shopping today and he made me realize that he loves me. She says I will feel bad if my dreams are broken. Sarla reminds her that she is Abhi’s wife and says Aaliya, Nikhil and Tanu tried to separate you both, but you were like a protective shield for Abhi.
She says your relation is made by God. She says I believe in you and asks why she is not believing herself? She says but you have all the family members and asks her not to accept defeat before fighting. She says if you couldn’t stop your engagement then just remember that your Mum is alive, and will not let you and Abhi get separated. Pragya gets emotional and hugs her. Sarla asks her to sleep and says she will make her sleep.
Abhi in his sleep sees Pragya and gets up calling fuggi (fatso). He thinks why do I think about her everytime, she thinks of me as a friend. He says she is Purab’s fiancé and I need to stop thinking of her this way, and shall respect her feelings.
He thinks what is happening to me and why am I feeling like someone closer to me is going far away from me? Tanu comes and asks what happened? I heard your voice, did you call me? Abhi says no, I called fuggi. He says I felt like someone I love is going far away from me. Tanu says who…I am with you. She says I will sleep in your room tonight. Abhi says we can’t sleep in one room, we are not yet married. Tanu says you have such a thinking being a rock star? Abhi asks her to think about Dadi. Tanu says she will take Dadi’s consent. Abhi says then Dadi will not let you stay in the house. He asks her to go. She goes. Abhi thinks he gets more bad dreams about Tanu than sweet dreams of Pragya. He asks himself to sleep rather than being with horrible Tanu.
In the morning, Aaliya is doing arrangements and asks Purab to help her. Abhi comes and tells him that Aaliya is doing everything alone. She asks him to help her do the arrangements. Purab helps her hesitantly. Abhi tells Purab that Aaliya likes him even now, and if he was not getting engaged to Pragya, then he would have gotten him engaged to Aaliya. Purab looks at him. Abhi says you are getting a good girl better than her. Aaliya asks what do you mean? Abhi goes. Aaliya tells Purab that she will make him get engaged to Pragya. She is very happy for doing wrong with him, but he couldn’t do anything. He goes angrily. Aaliya thinks I like your anger. She says you will be engaged to Pragya, but I will get you at the end.
Pragya comes to Mehra house. Tanu is busy organizing the decorations and calls her. She says I was waiting for you. She says you are going inside, silently and scared. Tanu says this is
Purab and Pragya’s engagement party and asks which color to select? She says function is here, so everything should be good, it doesn’t matter if you like it or not. She says you like Abhi, but we can’t give Abhi to you. People gets things according to their value and status. She says your family gets Purab as son-in-law for Bulbul and then you?
