Preeta grabs the mic, but it doesn’t work. She takes the attention of RJ. The family turns around and wonders how she returned? Sameer comes to help Preeta and make the mic work. The guests compliment that Preeta is extremely pretty and well deserved to be Karan’s Wife.
Inspector Pooja says she is Karan’s Wife already. Rano aunty argues that Mahira is. She brings Rakhi to confirm. Rakhi says the girl with a mic in her hand is her daughter-in-law.
Mahira was in extreme distress that Preeta will now announce to be Karan’s Wife. This is what she wanted to do.
Preeta apologizes to the guests that she had been busy fixing mic for so long, she took their precious time. The press had entered and took photos of Preeta. Mahira deliberately fell on the floor, right in front of Preeta. Preeta stops everyone from taking any more pictures. She calls Sherlyn to come and help her friend, as Sherlyn knows her condition. Preeta wonders aloud why people drink alcohol when they are unable to handle it? It comes as a blow to Mahira’s image, when said on mic.
Preeta begins her introduction: I am Preeta Karan Luthra. Namaste (greetings). People are happy when anyone marries, but not everyone is happy. Some of the people are jealous as well. Like every other girl, she dreamt that her marriage will bring happiness to a number of people. But some people are always jealous. Then she decided not to pay heed to anyone. Everyone must find in her; good behaviour, ethics, and her Mother’s values. She is Preeta, not Mahira who is drunk today and has lost her senses. She does not even realize she is not Karan’s Wife and introduced herself as one to a number of them. Mahira claims that Preeta is lying!
Preeta greets the Inspector from a distance, and compliments that it is so nice of her to be here. Preeta now asks everyone to confirm if Mahira is the daughter-in-law of this family?
At Malhotra house, Prithvi’s Mother prepares to welcome her daughter-in-law. Prithvi is annoyed and himself steps in the Vermilion tray. She questions where her daughter-in-law is? Prithvi says he is already tensed. He won’t handle anything else. His Mother complains that Prithvi ruined everything. Pawan promises his Mother to bring Preeta’s Sister as her daughter-in -aw now. Her Mother says Shrishti speaks a lot, non-stop; she cannot bear her in the house! Pawan says he loved her.
Sherlyn was curt that her plan backfired. Preeta is taking advantage of Inspector Pooja being in the party.
Preeta continues that everyone’s silence speaks volumes already. She is the legitimate Wife of Karan. She laughs that she has not experienced it for the first time. She is married to a very handsome, charming and dashing personality, who is a famous Cricketer of India. A meagre smile and pride fills Karan’s face. A lot of girls are crazy for Karan.
Preeta tells Mahira not to feel bad, as the relations of a celebrity and a fan does not change with Karan’s marriage. She can always be a huge fan of Karan, but she can not let her cross the fandom boundary. She will dislike if she does not maintain social distancing, because no Wife would. She gives a smile to the Press.
Kareena comes to Preeta. Preeta requests Kareena to let her speak, she wants to clarify the confusions Mahira has created in the minds of everyone here. She can not let anyone point a finger at the Luthra family.
Preeta exclaims that she doesn’t want their family’s name to be ruined because it is a thing that doesn’t leave the family’s name because she is a member of this family.
Mahira exclaims that she is lying, as she (Mahira) got engaged and was even about to marry Karan which means that Preeta is lying! Preeta says that she would not say anything, but would request that anyone comes forward so that they can reveal the truth.
Rano Aunty comes exclaiming that she has drunk a lot and has not taken a glass, but yet a bottle of wine. Rano Aunty goes back and her friend exclaims that she was wondering why Karan married Preeta but now, seeing what kind of a person Mahira is, she is relieved.
Mahira gets angry demanding why she said that she (Mahira) is not the right person for Karan?? Ramona and Sherlyn take Mahira away even when she does not want to leave there.
Preeta exclaims that it is nothing to worry about, as Mahira is drunk so she is no longer in her senses, Rano Aunty mentions that she has a really open heart as if it was someone else, she would have had her beaten up and they can also help in beating Mahira. Rano praises Preeta at which Janki mentions that it is all because of her that Sarla Aurora and she has made sure that her daughters have the best upbringing, then Shrishti also explains that her Sister is the best person in the world!
Sameer comes to the stage and taking the miv demands that both Karan and Preeta dance, as it would make the party a little lively.
Sherlyn and Ramona forcefully bring Mahira into the room, Mahira questions why did they bring her, as Preeta was the one who threw the wine on her clothes and it was her plan to make sure that Mahira is seen as a Villain however, Sherlyn and Ramona exclaim that she should change, as no one would believe her that Preeta did this to her! Mahira mentions that she has done a lot for the family, so they should listen to her, but Sherlyn explains that just as she cannot tell that she got Preeta kidnapped, they can also not say that it was Preeta behind everything!
Ramona sends Mahira to change her clothes before leaving the room. Sherlyn wonders that till the time Mahira changes her clothes, Preeta would make sure that everything goes back to normal which would ruin her entire plan!
Karan and Preeta start their dance, he inquires where she had gone? Preeta exclaims that this means he was missing her which is relevant with his questions however, he refutes her statements saying that he did not miss her! Preeta exclaims that she knows he was missing her when she was not around, but Karan doesn’t believe it, but couldn’t take his eyes off her. Karan mentions that she would have heard when she married Karan who was the dream of every bachelorette. However, Preeta is still dancing.
Sameer also demands that Shrishti dance with him, Sanjana and Kareena are shocked to see Shrishti is dancing with Sameer, Sanjana exclaims that she should make sure that Shrishti is not able to marry Sameer! Kareena also vows to not let her in their house!
Rano advises Rakhi to arrange the function once more, as Mahira ruined the function, so she should arrange another one, Rakhi asks Bani Dadi to come with her, she mentions that she knows that they arranged the function but were not able to fulfill the rituals so they would do it once again, Dadi agrees, but Kareena doesn’t believe what she heard, then inquires why Dadi allowed Rakhi to hold another function, at which Dadi mentions that she thought Rakhi was right so she allowed her.
Shrishti and Sameer leave the dance floor so when Preeta and Karan end their dance, everyone starts applauding them both.
Sherlyn exclaims that she cannot fulfill her plan because of Mahira and cannot even contact Prithvi, as he’s not answering her calls! Sanjana hears her exclaiming this is so shocking of what her daughter is planning.
Sarla is sitting on the sofa wondering what she can do to make sure that Preeta settles in her life? Ganesh brings her the phone and she answers the call to find the Ranouka about how her life is, she mentions that her daughter does not think of her own family, Sarla mentions that it would not take a lot of time and she would also have her own grand children really soon. They then invite Sarla to come to their house on zee from 7 pm.
Sanjana inquires why Sherlyn is still in contact with Prithvi, as he is not the right person? Sherlyn exclaims that she is in love with Prithvi and cannot live without him however, Sanjana believes that he is just using her, Sherlyn responds that she is talking just like Prithvi’s Mother, as she also does not like Sherlyn. Sanjana exclaims that she is living a peaceful life in the Luthra house, so why did she involve herself in Mahira’s plan with Pawan, when she knows how psychotic he is, as Mahira would loose the battle herself and also take Sherlyn down with herself??? Sanjana exclaims that Sherlyn should not also say that she has a relation with Mahira.
Ramona enters the room from behind exclaiming that Sanjana has played a wonderful game and is now trying to back out!
She mentions that she never felt that Sanjana would have said all those things, as she has come to know who pretends to care for their benefit!
Sanjana turns to Sherlyn exclaiming that she doesn’t want that her daughter to ruin her life as Mahira is a steep hill and if she stays on the side of Mahira, she will ruin her reputation in the Luthra family!
Mahira comes out of the bathroom and after the conversation between Sanjana and Sherlyn, she leaves the room, while both Ramona and Sherlyn run after her.
Preeta is meeting with the guests, Karan is standing when Rishab comes to him, he tries to make Karan drink some water, so that he can calm himself down, but Karan refuses to acceopt that he has any feelings for Preeta explaining that the dance was just a responsibility which he had to fulfil, then Karan mentions that he cannot see after looking into the eyes of Preeta, he makes an excuse mentioning that she wears a lot of Kajal and so he cannot look away from her eyes.
Sarla praises Preeta mentioning that she looks really nice with Karan, then the Police Inspector comes asking how she hurt her head? She mentions that she got injured while working for the function, the Inspector says that she is only a phone call away, so if she needs her help, then should call her, then she leaves mentioning that she has a lot of work in the Police Station.
Shrishti asks that why did she not tell the Inspector about the truth relating to Mahira? Preeta mentions that she did not have any proof, so would wait to search for the truth.
Karan comes mentioning that she has something to discuss with Preeta. He inquires why did she leave the function and where did she go? Preeta says that this means that he was missing her when she was not present, so they start the discussion, Preeta even takes the hand of Karan when he exclaims that he knew that she was not the one dancing with him when he took the hand of Mahira, they both are talking when Mahira gets angry and she is about to leave, so Karan asks what it was? He once again demands from her where she had gone?
Kareena and Dadi also inquire her, she explains that she was feeling suffocated in the house, so had left because she gets uncomfortable when Mahira is around her, Rakhi mentions that this means Sarla was right about Preeta’s feelings, she then goes to the stage announcing that they were not able to fulfil the rituals of their family, so they would perform the functions once again tomorrow, she explains that they would be wondering that they have seen her face, but there is also a ritual where the bride and groom have to find the rings, so they would hold the function once again.
Mahira after hearing the news goes to Karan exclaiming that he has wronged her, Karan goes after her mentioning that he has not told anything to Preeta about the letter because he knows that it was not her hand writing, so she should step away and let the things work as they are at the moment!
