At home, Shrishti was furious about Ramoona’s words. Janki comes to Shrishti concerned that Sarla is furious. Shrishti tells Janki it was Mahira’s mother, Ramoona. She wonders where Preeta got an attitude to never bear the wrong. She gets it from Sarla. Sarla countered Ramoona well in Luthra House. Afterwards, Ramoona flew mud over Sarla’s dress. Shrishti says she also threw stones over her car. Janki asks about what happened in Luthra house. Shrishti says everyone was happy at Luthra House to welcome them. But then Mahira came repeating that she is Karan’s wife, Ramoona even repeated the same.
In the room, Preeta asks Karan if he has something in his heart. He can say what he wants to. She says if he is angry with her mother. Karan asks if Preeta is stupid, Sarla has a point of view and was rightful. She fought with Mahira for a right reason. He is a married man, and no one else has a right to fast for him. He still blames Preeta who did not say a word downstairs. He laughs that Preeta already does not care even is someone is very close to him.
Preeta explains that she would have to wake up early in the morning for Karawachot, so would go to sleep. Karan mentions that there is another thing, she got jealous when Mahira came close to him, so she said that his Coach called him however, when he came, there was no call and he even called the Coach who mentioned that he had never called him. Preeta says that he is a busy Cricketer and even his Coach would be busy so might have forgotten however, he still thinks that she is the one to blame even when she informed him of such an important news, Preeta tries to push him away however, they both fall on the bed with Karan on top of her.
They both start arguing on whose mistake it was.
Preeta asks him to say sorry because he did not let her go near her bed which is why they fell, Karan refuses mentioning that everything belongs to him in the room, so if anyone should apologize, it should be Preeta, she however insists that they both would say sorry to each other at the same time, Karan agrees, but when Preeta counts he doesn’t utter a single word, he accepts her apology, Preeta gets mad saying that he is a Cheater and even hits him with a pillow.
Karan gets tensed asking how can she hit him before Karawachot? Preeta responds in anger explaining that she would not have taken this step had he not cheated with her!
She goes to sleep, Karan realizing that she would not be able to sleep in the cold turns off the air conditioner, Preeta realizes that he has turned it off, gets up to turn it back on just because of concern, he turns to look at her, she once again lies down to sleep after smiling.
Sameer inquires about Sarla’s health from Shrishti? She explains that Sarla is healthy, but was just depressed for a little time, She then explains that even though what happened was wrong, she is still happy, Sameer also says that he’s not worried because no one ever says anything in their house when something wrong happens, so there should be someone who can say the truth in front of everyone, Shrishti also says that she knows that nothing wrong would happen with her Mother after what she said to Ramona.
Sameer asks her to inform Sarla that there is nothing wrong with the family because everyone is busy preparing for the Karawachot function, Sameer also asks her to keep the fast for him, she mentions that he has indirectly proposed to her, as the fast is only kept by a Wife, so if he desires that she should keep a fast for his health, then should propose first, as otherwise, she can never do such a thing, she forces him to propose and when he is about to, Kareena enters the room calling his name, Sameer is left perplexed, he out of confusion is about to drop his mobile phone and ends the call.
Kareena asks him who he was talking too? He mentions that it was just his friend, then Kareena orders him to cancel all the meetings of Rishab tomorrow! Sameer says that he would first have to ask Rishab which angers Kareena, she once again repeats her orders exclaiming that she doesn’t want that Rishab even leaves the house on account of Karawachot! She is about to leave, when Shrishti calls him a nervous guy, he is about to say her name when Kareena once again comes into the room.
Kareena asks him to show her who he was talking to in the night, however, he refuses to show her the mobile phone, assuring that he would focus on his work, she threatens to send him back if he doesn’t focus however, Sameer promises to work with all his might, when she leaves, he is relaxed that she did not see the name on the mobile as otherwise, it would create another scene.
Preeta wakes up at 4am to prepare for the function, she quickly turns the alarm off, so that Karan doesn’t wake up, she sees Karan remembering what her Mother told her that on the first Karawachot, the oil lamp gives her blessings for the better relationship, so she should keep the fast with all her might, when she is about to turn, he takes her hand exclaiming if she was about to take advantage of his sleeping? However, she mentions that she was just looking at him, he asks her to not fight with her, as he doesn’t want the same, Preeta asks him to not talk in a manner that angers her, she turns back.
Karan says that he is doing this because of Dadi, as she ordered him to be nice with her, Preeta also comments that she did not understand why he was being so nice.
Rishab comes from the bathroom and turns off the alarm, he realizes that Sherlyn might have set it in order to wake up for the Ceremony of Sarghi, he is about to wake her up, but she asks him to turn off the lights, so he also lies down, she then wakes up inquiring why he did not wake her up, as she is the elder Daughter-in-law of the family and if she did not attend the Ceremony, then what would the family think? She even blames that he doesn’t want that she be respected in the family, however, Rishab explains that there is nothing of the sort.
Kartika comes out and she’s shocked to see that both Rishab and Karan are awake, she inquires if they both are also keeping the fast at which Rishab mentions that they would not do anything of the sort, as it is only because they both have to witness the rituals, Karan also exclaims that this misconception arose because of some men who thinks that it is alright however, he has no such intention.
Kareena presents Kartika with the Sarghi that came from her in-law’s house.
Preeta comes with the vermilion tray and Karan is shocked to see her dressed in the beautiful attire, she takes the blessings of Dadi who gives her and Karan the blessings of their long life.
Karan mentions that he is feeling so important, Rishab explains that it is because his Wife has kept a fast for him and on this day, the husbands are a step ahead, so he is feeling like this.
Preeta calls Kareena to take her blessings, even she gives her blessings. Rishab says that Preeta is keeping the fast, because of his long health, Rishab even answers why Preeta would keep the fast?
Karan leaves after which Rishab thinks that he would be tough on the outside, but has a soft heart, Sameer also comes explaining that he would be compelled to praise Preeta till the afternoon, Rishab says that he would not calm down till the end of the day, they both start a bet on when would Karan be compelled?
When they are having the meal, Dadi tries to give Sherlyn the laddu which Sarla had brought however, she refuses to take them, Mahira comes seeking the blessings of Karina, she demands that she give her the blessings as the wife of Karan.
Mahira seeks Kareena to bless her, as a couple, so that she remains with Karan throughout her entire life, she then agrees, Mahira also forces Dadi to give her blessing as a couple because she cannot live without Karan, Dadi thinks that if Rakhi was with them, she would have not blessed Mahira as the Wife of Karan, so she also does the same, she hands her the Sarghi, Dadi tries to give her a ladoo, but Mahira mentions that she should give her the ladoo that her Mother had brought, then Kareena mentions that the ladoo was the same which her Mother had brought.
Dadi orders them all to eat the Sarghi and fulfil the Ceremony.
Sherlyn gets a call, so leaves explaining that she has to attend it, as it’s her Mother. She asks Prithvi how he called her so early in the morning? He mentions that he was missing her so called her, they both exclaim that they love each other, Prithvi inquires what is happening in the Luthra house because the Sarghi would be going on and Preeta would not be keeping a fast for Karan, as he is just not her love, so she would keep the fast for the person who was about to marry her and it is him. Sherlyn gets really mad saying that she doesn’t love him, as now, she’s just in love with Karan and if he doesn’t stop talking about her, then she would also leave him!
Prithvi explains that he was only talking about Preeta, as he did not want that she have any competition in the Luthra house, but Sherlyn mentions that he should stop dreaming, as she would not keep any fast for him, he gets nervous saying that she should keep the fast, as he has to live a long life and it cannot happen if she doesn’t keep the fast, Sherlyn gets mad when he says that he has to live a life, Sherlyn explains that she is pregnant so cannot remain hungry!
Dadi orders Ganesh to remove the table, as they have fulfilled the Ceremony, Preeta mentions that she would take back her plate however,Dadi mentions that she cannot work as otherwise, she would get hungry and it is not possible, then Dadi mentions that they would move towards the next ceremony.
Dadi mentions that in the ceremony, the Mother-in-law provides everyone with the clothes which she has to wear in the prayer, then when she gives it to Preeta, Mahira also demands the same at which Dadi is forced to also give her the dress.
Kareena inquires where Sherlynos, as she has to fulfil the Ceremomy of Sarghi before dawn, Sherlyn comes explaining that she will not keep the fast, as she cannot remain hungry, Dadi and Kareena both explain that they would not force her, and if she doesn’t have to keep the fast, then should not.
Rishab also assures her that she should only keep the fast if she desires, as no one would force her. Sherlyn says that she had something to inform them, but her relationship with Risahb is not so strong that she could inform him, Dadi gets worried inquiring what she meant by her statement? Sherlyn says that her relationship with Rishab is not like a husband and wife, as if anyone gets mad with the other, then no one dares apologize.
Dadi pleads with her to explain each and everything in simple words, Sherlyn then reveals that she has news for them,as she is about to become a Mother which is why she cannot eat anything. Everyone is shocked to hear the news, Dadi then hugs her explaining that it’s a great news, Kareena also congratulates her however, Preeta is left standing in amazement along with Rishab and Karan, Kartika also greets her.
Sherlyn inquires if Rishab is angry with her as he is left stunned? Rishab says that he has to first absorb the news, Preeta after hugging Sherlyn mentions that she is happy that Sherlyn has finally accepted her pregnancy. Sherlyn leaves to inform her Mother. Dadi hugs Rishab praising him for the great news.
Shrishti wakes up in the morning and she’s amazed with the brightness of the sun, she mentions that all the Wives would wait for the moon, as only then, would they be able to break the fast, Shrishti thinks that she would not keep the fast now, as she is really hungry.
Dadi is calling Ganesh ordering him if he has made the breakfast for Rakhi? Kareena inquires why is she ordering Ganesh to take the breakfast to Rakhi? Dadi mentions that this is because she is not well, so she ordered him to make the breakfast for her.
Dadi gets mad when she sees that Preeta is making the drinks for Karan and Sameer, she gets angry and scolds them both for letting her work!
Rishab says that he is leaving however, Kareena stops him saying that she has ordered Sameer to cancel all the appointments and he will stay in the house, Sherlyn says that she should not stop Rishab however, he also gets mad saying that now, he will not leave the house, he sits at the table.
Preeta gets dizzy which worries everyone and they make her sit, Dadi once again scolds them both for making Preeta work, Kareena gets frustrated mentioning that Preeta is fine as she is sitting right in front of her, Dadi mentions that she is not well, as it’s her first fast and Rakhi advised that they should take care of her daughter-in-laws, she orders Karan to take Preeta to her room.
