Mahira exclaims how she challenged Preeta that Karan would break her fast in front of Preeta but what has happened and she saw how Karan broke the fast of Preeta in front of everyone, she starts thrashing the room, Sherlyn inquires what is she doing, Mahira mentions that she listened to her plan even when her mother told her that this plan would not work and it is entirely the fault of Sherlyn.
Sherlyn however mentions that it is the fault of Mahira as even when she pleaded with her to open the eyes, Mahira did not listen to her which caused their plan to fail.
Sherlyn exclaims that Karan has broke the fast of Preeta with his own hands and even made her eat the sweets, she thinks of how romantically he was looking at her then she exclaims that Preeta has gotten an opportunity to prove that she is always going to win however it would not happen as the day belongs to her and she would give poison to her ending the story once and for all.
Rakhi is in her room performing the prayer with Mahesh Luthra, she starts crying after seeing him in the bed, going towards him she places the tray on the sofa then taking his blessings wishes him Karwachath, she exclaims that she has kept the fast for him and would he break her fast with his own hands, she mentions that he should make her drink the water from his own hands thereby fulfilling her fast, she places the sweets on his hand and when she is about to eat them, she places them refusing to eat saying that she will not eat until he gives her the present which he gives to her for the fast, she remembers how the previous year he misbehaved with her and refused to mend his ways, when he was about to make her eat the sweets he joked of how he forgot the present explaining that he would bring it for her on the next Karwachath, he tries to explain that he would bring it for her and that she doesnot need the necklace because it is required by those who are not beautiful but she doesnot need her words and he made her take his blessings before pulling the necklace explaining how he would always bring the gift which she desires as it has never happened and would not happen again.
Rakhi exclaims that Karwachath has come once again so she needs the present and wants him to wake up because it is the responsibility of the wives that they keep the fast and he must present her with the gift which is her right, Preeta thinking of the love exclaims how blessed she is to be a member of this family.
Preeta enters the room exclaiming that she was not able to perform the check-up so if Rakhi doesnot mind can she perform it now, Rakhi gets up however Preeta asks her to sit down, Rakhi exclaims that the present which she desires for her fast is him, she exclaims how she asked him to open his eyes but he is not listening, Preeta exclaims that he might be saying by his closed eyes that he wishes to fulfil her desires and he even looks really happy, then she asks if Rakhi asked him to break her fast so she should move forward with it, Rakhi then breaks her fast.
Sherlyn is walking after Mahira trying to stop her but Dadi calls her from behind explaining how she has thought of tieing a black ribbon on her hand to protect her from any bad omens, she takes her away.
Mahira is walking when she sees both Rakhi and Preeta together, Preeta calls her Rakhi maa but Rakhi asks her to not refer to her as Maa as she never follows anything which she says as daughters listen to their mother and even she was ill she kept the fast, Preeta explains how her mother told her that the fast strengthens the relationship amongst the family members, she responds how Rakhi also kept the fast even when she was ill, Preeta explains how she knows that the family has a high regard so she kept the fast as she is also a member of the family.
Rakhi exclaims that she has gotten really happy after hearing what Preeta has said as she kept the fast even when Sarla was ill, she hugs her, Preeta is happy to see that Rakhi has hugged her with such love and got it she was yearning for.
Mahira thinks that she would make sure Preeta is not able to get in the hearts of the family members!
Rakhi asks Preeta to go back into her room and eat the dinner as she has sent the food to her room and that she should also eat the sweet dish which she will send with Ganesh. Preeta leaves after taking care of Mahesh.
Sarla ends the call, she explains that Rakhi was going to the kitchen to prepare the dish for Preeta, Shrishti exclaims that she heard everything and knows that the ritual of Preeta was fulfilled without any problem, Sarla explains that Karwachath is very important for a daughter especially when it is her first and she is glad Preeta was able to fulfil the entire ritual even after so much problems.
Ganesh is in the kitchen preparing the dish for Preeta when Mahira comes to the kitchen door, she comes close to Ganesh who is lost in his dream and is looking at her when she inquires what he is looking at he refuses to move, she orders him to replace all the water bottles in the room then orders him to leave, he turns and is still looking at her when he finally leaves Mahira takes off the cover from the bowl and remembering how Preeta exclaimed that she is a member of the family.
Mahira thinks that the ladoo had very little poison but she will now put the entire bottle so Preeta is not able to survive, she mixes the poison in the sweets then thinks that no one in the family would eat this dish except Preeta who would eat it and then die!
Karan is getting ready in the room he turns to see Preeta sitting there and she is about to eat, he comes to sit in front of her, she asks what does he want from him then explains that she knows he desires to eat her food, Karan mentions that she is wrong as he has already had his dinner and she is partly right because he was looking after her plate but only because he desired to make her eat the dish with his own hands.
Preeta inquires if he really means this as she fears that when she would lean in he would take back his hands, Karan exclaims that she is now his wife and he would take care of her so she should never worry, Preeta remembers how her mother mentioned that Karwa Maa showers a lot of her blessings on the couple which has been newly married so when she would keep the fast her relation would become even more strong with Karan.
Karan starts feeding her with his own hands and she is also eating.
He looks at her with love and Preeta is not able to control her nervousness, she accidentally bites him, she apologizes mentioning that she was looking at him, he exclaims that she did this on purpose as she wants to take revenge, Preeta exclaims that she doesn’t want to take any revenge when he was feeding her with so much love. Karan responds that she has a lot of reasons and it could be that Mahira was so close with him and that he purposefully brought Mahira into their house and that when he dropped her after she was in his arms.
Preeta remembers what had happened but then mentions that it was not on purpose and she accidentally did it but if he feels satisfaction on it then could also bite her, he mentions that this is what would cause happiness for him, he starts looking at the fingers, Preeta gets nervous but he kisses it, she is not able to understand it.
Karan exclaims that he can never cause her any sort of pain, and promises to never cause any injury explaining that any thing that tries to cause harm to her would have to go through him first, Preeta remembers how Karan has saved his life every time she was in trouble, they both look into each other’s eyes.
Mahira is in the kitchen thinking that the sweet is ready and now no one can save Preeta, she is standing there when she hears Rakhi coming wondering if Ganesh has served the sweet dish to Preeta, Mahira breaks a plate on the floor and kneels to collect it, Rakhi is shocked to see her in the kitchen then inquires where is Ganesh?
Mahira mentions that Dadi was asking for water and she ordered Ganesh to take it to her while she served the dish, Rakhi exclaims how she ordered Ganesh to prepare it first, Mahira mentions that she prepared it and now Rakhi can take it so she serves it, Rakhi exclaims that she is relaxed to know Mahira served it with her own hands.
Mahira mentions that she only did this as Preeta kept the fast for her love Karan. Rakhi says that she has seen how Karan broke the fast of his wife Preeta as it was the will of god, Mahira asks her to take the sweets otherwise it would get cold, Rakhi turns while Sherlin is coming in a hurry and so she orders her to not run as it is not right for her.
Sherlyn comes into the kitchen mentioning that she was not able to find the bottle of poison, Mahira asks her to say it clearly and she ahs mixed the poison in the sweet dish and now Rakhi would serve it and be blamed for killing her daughter-in-law as the relationship already is blamed for a lot of troubles in the families.
Rakhi is taking the sweets when Kartika comes running inquiring about her health, Rakhi responds that she is fine and glad that Kartika came back, Kartika takes the sweet demanding to eat it. Rakhi explains that Preeta is the new member of their family so she would be the first one to eat it and then after it she would make another for her, Kartika agrees then leaves.
Sherlyn mentions that Mahira should have discussed it with her first before mixing the poison as it would create a lot of problem.
Karan and Preeta both are standing but not able to talk, they both ask each other to talk first, Preeta explains that she is feeling cold and so Karan covers her with a blanket and holds her.
Rakhi enter the room without knocking, but seeing them walks out of the room.
Sherlyn is happy to see that Rakhi has not given her the poison, Preeta also comes out of the room and then Sherlin purposefully drops the bowl, Rakhi gets mad but Sherlyn apologizes saying that she got dizzy so was not able to walk properly.
Mahira gets mad, she immediately comes to them and takes the hand of Sherlyn explaining she would help her get back to her room so she can rest.
Rakhi apologizes but they both plead with her to come into the room, Rakhi mentions that she would make another dish for her however Preeta refuses saying that she has already eaten a lot and so would not be able to eat anymore, therefor Rakhi should not make any more of the dish and rest. Karan agrees that Preeta is really full because he himself made her eat the food, they both get nervous when he says this, Rakhi leaves and Preeta exclaims that she would change her clothes as she is feeling sleepy.
Mahira enters the room with Sherlyn and inquires why did she do it as had she not come in between, then Preeta would have been dead, Sherlyn tries to leave saying that she would talk with Mahira once she is calm and tries to walk away however Mahira tries to slap her but Sherlyn takes her hand and slaps her in return explaining that she should never even think of doing something like this as Mahira is the one who is wrong, it is because of her fault she was not able to marry Karan and Sarla came got the bail because of her daughter as she is a lot clever then Mahira who is always angry!
Sherlyn accepts that she was at fault when Ganesh broke her fast, but she is also to blame, Mahira yells saying that it is all her fault.
Preeta is not able to sleep, she while lying on the bed takes out a ring and remembers how her father made her promise that she would meet her mother, Preeta thinks that she always remembers him with the ring that he gave to her, she thinks that Mahesh is in a coma and she tries to take a lot of care, but she’s not able to because he has a lot of enemies in this house, she thinks of how her mother was locked in jail when she is suffering for the fight between herself and Mahira, Preeta starts to cry and Karan hearing her cries, wakes up.
Karan lights the room and stands beside her, she realizes that he is standing, so sits up, Karan inquires what has happened? Preeta mentions that she is really remembering her father and mother, and she’s worried about how she would have been arrested. Karan advises that she should talk with Sherlyn to take back the case, but Preeta refuses, then Karan mentions that they will meet her mother, Preeta asks if they would go now, at which Karan agrees, she goes to wash her face, then turns to hug him before leaving.
Sherlyn mentions that no person could get bail if they are charged with murder, Mahira inquires how would they have known who poisoned her? Sherlyn mentions that if they found poison, then she would be blamed, she mentions that the family loves her a lot, Sherlyn explains that Rakhi did not accept their marriage, but has accepted her now and she’s the one to protect her in every case, She explains how Mahira sent the sweet mixed with poison to Preeta with Rakhi and by the time the Doctor would test the sweet, they would come to know who was the one behind it, as Rakhi would never hurt her daughter-in-law and they know she doesn’t like Preeta.
Sherlyn explains how she would be the one to go to jail which makes Mahira realize and she exclaims that she doesn’t want to go to jail. Sherlyn asks her to consult with her before making any plan!
Karan is driving the Car while taking Preeta to Sarla’s house, he looks at Preeta who is really happy however, he thinks that why is he not feeling the same? Preeta asks what is worrying him so much? They reach the house and she gets off, Karan mentions that when he should be happy that she is now living with her mother and he would get the whole bed and all the necessities for himself, but he knows she would not be on the Couch and Perhaps it is something however, he isn’t able to say anything.
Preeta starts walking towards the house, he takes her hand, stopping her from behind, he says that whenever in the future he asks her to go and stay at her Mother’s house, she should deny it because he cannot say it clearly that he would miss her, will she also miss him? Preeta mentions that she doesn’t know it clearly. Preeta asks him to come and stay with her in her Mother’s house. Karan at first agrees, but then denies mentioning that if he comes with her, then they would all start taking care of her which he doesn’t want, as it is the night when she should be with her Mother, he is not able to leave then finally walks to the car and sits even when he doesn’t want to, he finally leaves her standing in front of the house.
Karan thinks that he is feeling really bad that he is leaving her like this, he waves her one last time before she turns to walk towards her mother’s house and he drives off.
