Karan helps her asking that she should stop crying, as he has come to her.
Kareena asks him to come inside, as she would close the door, Karan asks what she’s doing, to which Kareena explains how they went to the Temple where she said how she suspects Akshay, as he’s with another girl in the hotel but when they went into the room, Akshay was alone and they did not find any girl even in the washroom which is when his Parents came and they even tried to call off the relationship.
Sherlyn also starts blaming Preeta mentioning how he should realize that if Preeta is not in the wedding, only then would it happen without any drama.
Karan turns to Preeta in anger then takes her hand pulling her inside, she inquires if he is not angry with her? He orders her to come before he changes his mind, he warns Sherlyn to also inform Kareena that she should not create any drama!
Kareena asks why is he bringing her into the house even after she informed him of her actions? Karan mentions how he would bring her just as she doesn’t have the right to break anyone’s marriage, then no one has the right to throw her out of the house! He asks them to not forget who she is because she’s his Wife and better half, so her insult is his, which he cannot bear! He mentions how he would take her inside the house, then pulls Preeta into the room.
Karan asks why Preeta keeps doing those things which causes trouble for her? Preeta mentions about Kritika, but he says that she should stop crying because he doesn’t like when she cries, Preeta exclaims how she has ever informed how good he is, he exclaims that she has informed him how bad she is, but she mentions how she only says it rarely.
Karan orders Ganesh to have the Car parked in the house, as he left it outside. Karan asks her to get ready however, she is really sad when he asks her to hurry up, as she has to get ready, he’s about to leave when Preeta hold his hand, and he’s about to say that he loves her, but after asking about the day, exclaims that he would tell her on the Valentine’s day, then she goes to the washroom when he wonders what he was about to say?
Preeta comes out of the washroom and sees the bags which Ganesh has brought to the rooms, however Karan forces her to go back, as everyone is waiting for her, Karan then runs out of the room.
The function begins when Sarla comes, Kareena gets really angry wondering why does Rakhi invite them to their function, because every time they come, the function is ruined which should not happen and it’s not right, Kareena gets really mad so leaves.
Sarla sees Akshay, then remembers what Preeta said to her, so calls his Mother exclaiming how they met at the party and Preeta informed her of how she thinks that her Son might be doing something wrong which is not right and she should correct him however, his mother threatens Sarla that she would also see how they challenge her Son which worries Sarla who leaves.
Karan and Preeta both come to the function, when Preeta meets Sarla who blesses the both of then, then Karan goes to meet Rakhi who also praises him for looking so handsome in the party.
Sarla asks Preeta what she is thinking of doing, because she feels that Akshay’s Parents knows of his truth and might even be supporting him which is not right, Preeta exclaims how she would not let anything wrong happen to Kritika, as Shristhi and Sameer have gone to collect the proof. Sarla asks if Karan believed her? Preeta replies how he trusted her and even defended her in front of everyone in the family, so Sarla explains how the relationship between the husband and wife is alive because of trust, however she should do all that she can to protect it because the trust cannot ever be regained.
Kritika comes to the the Temple when her friends exclaim how she should always control her husband, as only then would she be able to live a long life.
Preeta sees Shristhi and Sameer coming, she meets them and takes the proof against Akshay in his hand.
Akshay while sitting thinks of how he would defeat Preeta, as he will get married to Kritika.
Preeta is confident that she would be able to reveal the truth of Akshay.
Asuper-confident Akshay pretends to be nice to Preeta before everyone. He requests Kareena to let Preeta perform a ritual during his and Kritika’s wedding. Kareena accepts it and asks Preeta to do so. Preeta secretly shows him some pictures of him with Ruchika and his Son. Preeta threatens Akshay to confess about his wrongdoings before everyone or she will expose him! She also tells him about recording his conflict with Megha after they left from the hotel. A frightened Akshay begins to think of ways to escape the situation.
Srishti and Preeta look at each other and recalls how they had visited Ruchika and convinced her to help them expose Akshay’s plan. Ruchika, who was shocked to hear about Megha, remains stunned when she learns that Akshay is planning to leave India after getting Kritika’s wealth.
As warned earlier, Preeta begins a countdown and keeps showing fingers to him. Akshay’s Mother walks up to Preeta and questions her about threatening Akshay. Preeta tells Akshay to confess his wrongdoings or she will begin to show the evidence against him. Akshay says that he is innocent and Preeta has always been trying to frame him. He calls off the wedding and says that he does not want to prove himself right anymore.
Rakhi and Kritika request Preeta not to create a ruckus today and leave her doubts aside.
Meanwhile, Ruchika arrives there and she keeps watching the whole spectacle. She does not react and keeps watching the matter go to another level. Preeta questions Akshay’s character and shows his pictures with Ruchika to Kareena. However, Kareena throws the pictures into a havan kund (ritual/holy fire).
A restless Preeta tries to take out the pictures, but Karan saves her from getting her hands burnt. Karan warns Preeta to stop doing anything that affects this wedding! Everyone gets shocked to see Karan’s anger.
Akshay calls off the wedding and says that a lot of people don’t want him to be married to Kritika. Soon, Srishti comes near the wedding canopy and calls him an unworthy man. She tries to show the video that is in her phone. However, Akshay pretends to lose temper and deliberately throws her phone on the floor. Srishti shouts at him for breaking her phone and he says that he’s losing more than her at the moment. He consoles Kritika and says that he cannot continue this relationship anymore. He begins to shout at Preeta and Karan loses his cool.
Karan holds Akshay by his collar and warns him not to misbehave with Preeta! Karan immediately tries to calm him down and tells him to forget everything and marry Kritika.
Ruchika walks away after this and begins to leave the Luthra house.
Karan asks Preeta about the truth that she wants to reveal? Akshay quickly cuts the conversation by saying that Karan and Preeta are just creating a scene. Akshay asks Kritika to forget everything and move on and she keeps requesting him to stop.
Akshay pretends to be innocent before Kritika and Kareena. He says that he wants to marry Kritika, but Preeta’s accusations have forced him to take this decision. Kareena requests him not to leave Kritika this way and Rakhi pleads him to stop. He says that Preeta is to be blamed too for this and refuses to wait back. Akshay says that now, Preeta shall answer people’s questions when they criticise Kritika!
Karan gets mad at him and holds him by his collar. Akshay pulls himself away from Karan and walks away, while the Luthras beg him to wait.
Preeta stops Akshay and calls him an unworthy man. She scolds him for criticising Kritika and making her appear unworthy before everyone. Akshay says that he has still managed to win this fight and Preeta has lost it again. He tells Preeta that Kritika will no longer love her and Kareena will be angrier with her than ever! Preeta says that she is satisfied about the fact that she has saved Kritika from him. Preeta asks him to leave and he does not utter a word.
Kareena and Dadi scold Preeta after she returns at the wedding canopy. Preeta tries hard to explain herself and expose Akshay’s lies, but in vain.
Sarla steps ahead and defends Preeta against everyone. She tells Preeta to stop justifying herself before everyone. Kareena criticises Sarla and Preeta, and Sherlyn adds to it by criticising them. Sarla warns Sanjana to ask Sherlyn to shut her mouth! Kareena defends Sherlyn against Sarla and they begin to shout at each other.
