Prithvi meets both Mr Nanaware and MLA Sahab, they reply that he was not seen around when Prithvi informs that he went to give money to one of his employees since they needed his help, so he went there, he praises himself by saying he has never judged anyone who works for him, trying his best to make them feel as the owners of the company. He mentions he doesn’t want to praise himself but his Mother says he has the tendency to feel the problems which others are facing.
Prithvi mentions that Preeta would have given the presentation but there is a change that the name of the company is Malhotra industries, Mr Nanaware explains he is an experienced person and can clearly see that Prithvi is insecure and it can be witnessed on the face of anyone who feels someone has taken away something from them, he even says a popular saying mentioning that people tend to see what they desire but Preeta is different and has a different spark.
Prithvi assures he can take their investment to a whole new level, explaining anyone can make a presentation but he must not trust the girls since they say something else but end up doing something entirely else, MLA replies they are really satisfied with the presentation which Preeta presented, and desire to discuss further aspects with her but she is no where to be found, he sees her.
Preeta coming explains she found out they desire to talk with her but she wants to explain certain points in the presentation which she left out purposefully after which they can discuss all the points, Preeta leaves while Prithvi thinks he would have to do something about Preeta once and for all!
Prithvi fails to convince the Investors to invest in the project proposed by his company. Natasha arrives there to tell him to wait for her plan against Preeta. However, Sherlyn keeps opposing the plan which begins her argument with Natasha.
Sameer overhears them and walks up to Karan to apprise him of this. Karan runs towards the stage to stop Preeta from touching the mic. He announces a dance performance with Preeta and whispers in her ears the reason behind it. After Preeta walks away from Karan, Natasha joins Karan on the floor to dance with her.
Karan thanks Natasha for dancing with him and then goes to talk to Preeta. He tells Preeta that he cares for her and her being distant can have ill effects on their Marriage. Natasha eavesdrops on them and feels confident about having Karan.
Prithvi takes a Snake charmer to Mahesh’s room for his plan to prove him mentally unstable publicly, and the latter leaves a Snake near Mahesh
At the party, Kritika tries to defend Prithvi against Preeta when Rakhi praises Preeta’s actions.
A frightened Mahesh comes running out of the basement to the living room. The Luthras try to calm him down and Prithvi uses the opportunity to malign him. Prithvi, pretending to help Mahesh, claims that there was no Snake in the Luthra Mansion. He reveals to the Press that Mahesh has been mentally unstable for a long time and the Luthras have been hiding it.
Preeta loses her cool after hearing Prithvi say that the Luthra Industries cannot be trusted as Mahesh looks after its business.
The Luthras begin to feel ashamed when the people say that the Luthras have been deliberately hiding it to run their business. Prithvi clearly asks the Investors not to invest in the project proposed by Preeta under the banner of Luthras industries.
Preeta pushes Prithvi away to step ahead and calm Mahesh down. Prithvi tries to get back at Preeta but Karan immediately comes ahead to defend Preeta. Preeta says something that calms Mahesh down and she proves Prithvi to be a liar.
Mahesh recognises each member of the family and thanks Preeta for her help. Prithvi tries to execute another ploy but Preeta uses it against him.
The Investors again have faith in Preeta and the project proposed by her. Karan feels good to see Preeta taking care of Mahesh. The Luthras get emotional to see Mahesh in a better state after so long. Rakhi praises Preeta’s efforts, which annoys Kareena.
Prithvi picking the files from the bed, starts looking at them thinking this was his dream project but Preeta ruined it all for him, all his planning since the last two years has gone in vain, he in anger exclaims his name is Prithvi Malhotra and doesn’t loose, he taking out a match stick lights all the papers on fire, exclaiming he has burned all the defeats, and in Lordhi, he is going to burn all of his victories and even if he needs to, then he will even burn her to ashes! Prithvi calls someone informing they need to conduct a blast.
Karan in the room apologizes to Preeta, she questions what did he say but he at once asks what he said? Preeta mentions they both heard he apologized but what was the reason? Karan asks if he apologized but he did not mean it, Preeta questions why does he have to tell a lie and should accept that he apologized, she is just asking the reason, Karan asks why is she so desperate for a single sorry? Preeta mentions that sometimes, a single sorry has more meaning then everything else, Karan questions why should he apologize? Preeta says that she remembers how he threw her out of the house.
Karan says he doesn’t remember anything like this because he neither threw her out nor told her to leave, she says sometimes not saying anything has a lot of meaning, Karan refuses to accept he did anything like this, Karan holds her hand when she pulls it back informing it is hurting, he seeing the wound questions how did it happen? She doesn’t reply at first but then clarifies it happened because of the handcuffs, he suddenly starts searching for the medicine but isn’t able to find it, she questions what is he searching for? He in anger replies he is looking for his bat, she informs it is behind him, he replies she doesn’t understand sarcasm, she replies he doesn’t even understand common language as the first aid box is on top of the wardrobe.
Karan brings the first aid box, and starts applying the ointment, they both look at each other recalling the past moments when she applied the ointment on his hand, Preeta questions why is he caring for her and being so nice? He says she can ask her heart and would get the answer, Preeta replies she’s trying to question it but isn’t able to get the answer. Karan advises her to not cover the wound for some time, he turns to leave then coming back exclaims that he will never forget what she has done for his family, she has given his family the family, and she has once again given Mahesh Luthra his daughter.
Karan leaves when Preeta with tears in her eyes thinks she desires to tell him that the real reason she came back to this house is for the sake of this family, to save Mahesh papa, Rishab jee and especially for him.
Sameer in the room requests Kareena to go and sleep in his room while he will go to the Guest room, she however says she is fine since she got bored with her own room so it is nice to have a change, Bani Dadi informs when Prithvi first came into this house, he used to go and sleep in the Guest room but now is living in her room.
Kareena defending him informs there is nothing to be so worried about since he has done a lot for them and is even getting the treatment of Mahesh, Dadi questions why is she taking his side, she questions if Kareena did not see how he in front of the Media declared Mahesh as mental, Kareena accepts that Prithvi should not have done this but they all must liok at it from the consideration of Prithvi as he held this party for his own business and suddenly Mahesh Luthra came running to the party so he got nervous.
Prithvi who has been eavesdropping thinks that now, these Luthra’s have gotten so much nerve that they are going to say things against him but he is now going to teach them a lesson!
Kareena mentions Prithvi yelled Snake so he can cover it up, Rakhi questions what is she saying as they cannot understand it, Kareena replies all this happened because of Prithvi since he yelled it when Preeta got the chance to take the credit for herself so she did it and if she ever gets to choose amongst Preeta and Prithvi, she is always going to choose Prithvi.
Prithvi standing thinks she is defending him but he would not be able to do it himself, he thinks now, he has to take them all into confidence and goes into the room. They’re tensed to see him.
